They tell me cranberries are an anti-oxidant. If they are, then more than 15,000 attendees of Cranberry Festival in Bala last weekend are a lot healthier today! Apparently Saturday was a record day. There’s a question whether the festival surpassed total attendance records, but it is known that all passes were sold. Muskoka Lakes was flowing cranberry red.
On Monday night, there were some huge winds. The force sounded like being in a tunnel while a freight train roared through. Leaves had a hard time staying put. Many trees said goodbye to their fall colours, others let go of branches as well. Power was spotty all across Muskoka. Spinning Reels in Bracebridge was cancelled and that wasn’t due to lack of interest.
Tuesday dawned brighter as trees once clothed, stood stark against the sky, their spindly fingers reaching upwards to grab warmth from cool dawn rays.
Just as the leaves have flown, so the number of new listings has dwindled. That doesn’t mean they’re any less in quality. A fantastic property came to market.
